ACCME Accreditation
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Congress of Neurological Surgeons (CNS) and the American Academy of Neurological Surgery. The CNS is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

2025 ACADEMY ANNUAL MEETING CME CLAIMING INSTRUCTIONS
- LOG-IN:
- Click the “CLAIM CME NOW" button at the bottom of the page.
- You will be prompted to log in with the username and password for the cns.org website.
- CME claiming is tied to the email you used for the meeting registration. You may need to log in with a different email if you are unable to access the claiming survey.
- Click the “forgot password” link on the log-in page if you need to reset your site password.
- CLAIM CME/CE CREDIT OR ATTENDANCE HOURS
- On the claiming page, click the blue “Begin” button at the bottom right side.
- Click the drop-down box for each session attended and select the number of credits/hours you want to claim.
- Click the blue “Next” button to move forward or the blue “Previous” button to return to another page.
- GENERAL MEETING EVALUATION
- The General Evaluation MUST be completed as a part of the CME/CE claiming process. Note: The *red asterisk denotes the required fields
- Click “Save and Continue” when the evaluation is complete.
- REVIEW SUMMARY AND CME/CE CERTIFICATE
- You will automatically be taken to the “Summary” page to view all credit claims.
- Click “Finish” to finish claiming CME.
- The certificate will immediately be available to print or save to your computer.
To access another copy of your certificate, please bookmark this link. CNS Members can retrieve additional copies from their "MyCME" page
*Physicians ( MD, DO, or international equivalent) are eligible to claim AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ and will receive a CME Certificate.
*All allied health professionals, residents, physician assistants, medical students, and nurses are eligible to receive a Certificate of Attendance through the claiming system.
